I have owned my Remington 870 for around 34 years. It is still very dependable. Now I take my son and grandson dove hunting and they are enjoying the same great time I have for this many years. The gun has been kept clean and oiled. Never had a problem with operation of the gun. I would highly recommend this choice to anyone that wants his weapon to be reliable, and not very expensive compared to some other brands.

870 Express - still very reliable.

This was the first 12ga pump action I bought over 17yrs ago. I''ve kept it clean and oiled well enough. There are a few minor scrapes and such here and there. But, I still take it along every trip afield as backup to my 11-87. In the most severe conditions - snow, rain and cold - it''s reliable and never disappoints me. Definitely a Best Buy option for the beginner.
