This is my first Simmons scope. The quality seems real good. I like the fast target acquisition the Red Dot scopes offer. I have a tactical semi-auto 22-rifle w/folding stock that has the standard open sites. Because of the short mounting rail I had to add a notch to the rail on the rifle to accept this scope. Everything was real easy. The scope really adds a nice touch to the rifle. For the money, you can’t go wrong. I can’t wait to dial it in.

i havent put on my handgun yet but have always liked simmons quality i have had a pair of simmons camo binoculars since i was 16 they have been all over the world with me from california to the persian gulf war and home still in excellent shape not a scratch on them case worn but thats all so i got the scope for simmons quality and price . i have a question i want to put this scope on my 500 magnum pistol will the recoil knock it off my pistol i already seen one person with a scope on a 500 magnum and he shot it and it sheared the scope off the pistol scope was history what do you think dont want to ruin scope let me know what i should do thanks ralph ramsey

HAve 4 Shotguns that get shot all the time. ALL HAVE RED DOTS. Hate to say it, but after trying ALL 40MM-size RED DOTS over the years, will tell u SIMMONS is best value for the Dollar!! Less cost than BSA or BARSKA yet last just as long. WARRANTY BREAKAGE? No prob! send it in, they send a new one back just as fast. No, Im OK with SIMMONS!!
